Directions To The Old Farmhouse & The Grange at Roystone Grange
We are located mid way between the scenic Dales towns of Ashbourne and Bakwell, 4 miles East of Dovedale and between the hamlets of Pikehall and Ballidon shown on National Road atlases.
Roystone Grange is marked on the Buxton, Matlock and Dovedale area O.S maps.
From the South, Ashbourne
Take A515 towards Buxton. After 1.9 miles turn right at the Bentley Brook pub onto the B5056 towards Bakewell / Longcliff / Ballidon & Grangemill. After 3.4 miles turn left, signposted Ballidon & Parwich. Take first right, signposted Ballidon. Through Quarry over cattle grid and onto farm track. Continue along farm track through gate and onto Roystone Grange
From the North and Bakewell
Take A6 towards Matlock. After passing Haddon Hall, turn right onto B5056 towards Ashbourne. Take first left, still on B5056 heading towards Ashbourne Go straight across at Grangemill cross roads (Hollybush pub on corner) After 4.5 miles (from Holly Bush pub) turn right, signposted Ballidon & Parwich Take first right, signposted Ballidon. Through Quarry over cattle grid and onto farm track. Continue along farm track through gate and onto Roystone Grange
From the North and Buxton
Take A515 towards Ashbourne At Newhaven take the A5012 towards Cromford and Grangemill After 1.9 miles take first right hand turn into village of Pikehall. Go under Railway bridge and take second left (1 mile from Pikehall) Take first right, after 0.3 of a mile, down farm track. Pass cottages on right and derelict barn on left. Through gate and continue down track, over a cattle grid and through another gate until you reach Roystone Grange
